Matt Froehle: Graduate of Bartlett high School (89′). Has won multiple state tournaments in AK as a youth and represented Alaska at ODP. In college he attended St. John University (MN) where he had a seller career receiving awards for the Hardest working and the Otto Webber Award. Matt is one of a very select group of Alaskans to go on and play in the professional ranks. He played in the USISL with the Yakima Reds (95-96’) and Dayton Tigers (97’) where he was team captain for both teams. He moved on to play for the USL Division III Orlando Nighthawks (98’) where they went on to each 3rd place in the USL National Tournament.
Coaching Licenses: USSF National “D” license & Coerver Youth Diploma.
Coaching Achievements: Matt is a very accomplished coach over the last 18 years. He has coached in Florida (Cocoa Beach High School), Washington (WA East ODP U15 girls & Central Washington University assistant coach for both the women’s and men’s programs) and most recently in Anchorage, AK. Matt has won multiple state tournaments in state with his CISC teams (00’ girls & 98’ boys) as well have out of state tournaments (Beaverton Cup, Patriots Cup & Nike Oswego Cup (Gold Division)).
Tim Valesko: Graduate of Service high School (89′). Won two state titles as a Cougar. 1988 Gatorade Player of the Year and All-American. Played Collegiately at Concordia College Portland Ore. (Cavaliers) 2nd on team scoring freshman year , 2cnd on team sophomore year and third on the team Junior year. 3 time all conference player accumulated 75 pts in three years.
Coaching Licenses: USSF National “C” license, NSCAA National Diploma, and NSCAA National Goalkeeper Diploma.
Coaching Achievements: Been Coaching for last 16 years and has amassed 36 State titles in that time as well as helping to place over 100 players to the collegiate ranks. 2 time winner of the Disney Showcase Tournament 2011 and 2013 2 time winner of the Crossfire Tournament Seattle WA. Won the Eagles Classic tournament Southern California Won Mayors cup Las Vegas Nevada First and only semifinalist at Far West Regional’s on the boys side. (2005 U-17 boys )
Barat Killian: Is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina and was a standout player (4 times State Champ) at club and college level. He was member of the Appalachian State University Men’s Soccer team (2004-2006). In this youth he was exposed to a wide range out soccer experiences. He lived, played and studied abroad in Santa Cruz, Bolivia for one full year (2000) with “La Academia de Futbol Tahuichi Aguilera.” He was the youngest American ever asked to participate in their “Masters Program” at the age of 15 years old. He also played internationally in England, Sweden (Gothia Cup ’98), Wales (Ian Rush Tournament ’98), Germany and Holland with club teams and ODP, and had Trials with Clubs PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord of Holland and Wolfsburg Germany (2000).
Coaching Licenses: USSF National “B” license, United States Youth Soccer U10/U12 “Youth” Licenses and NSCAA Regional, Coerver Youth Diploma, Goalkeeping Diploma
Coaching Achievements: Coaching Competitive Youth Soccer at Cook Inlet Soccer Club as the Director of Player Development. I ran the Recreational Program (’09-’10) which hosted a Tournament at the end of the year in July. As a Staff Coach at CISC, the Head Coach for 2-3 Youth Competitive Teams, and helps organize our FUTSAL League Fall-Spring (2009-Present). Current Boys Varsity Head Coach at Dimond High School (2013)
Brad Horton: Graduate of Sycamore High School in Sycamore, Illinois where he played 4 years of varsity soccer. He was named an All-American his senior year as well as the Illinois Player of the Year. Brad was also named an All-American for club and country. Was a member of Illinois ODP, Region II ODP and U17 Boys National Team. Played his youth soccer at the Chicago Fire Academy. Played college soccer at Northern Illinois University, started all 4 years. Lead the Huskies as an outside midfielder in goals and points his Freshman and Sophomore years before moving to defense his Junior and Senior year. Was named to the Freshman All-American second team in his first year at NIU. Won the Mid American Conference as a senior. During the college off season, Brad was a member of the Chicago Fire PDL/Reserve team.
Coaching License: USSF ‘E’ License, USYS U6-U10 Youth diploma
Coaching Achievements: Currently runs the CISC Recreational Program as well as heading the U10 Boys Academy.
Laef Eggan: Is graduate of West Anchorage high school (93’) where he won 2 state titles his Freshmen (15-0-0 ranked 10th in the nation) and Senior years. National High School All-American and Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year in 1993. He was selected to the all-conference team 3 out of the four years at West. Made the Far West ODP Regional Pool team in 1991. Received a full scholarship at Hartwick College (NCAA D1 96’-98’) after a successful two years at Pacific Lutheran University where he earn 1st All-Conference and 2nd team all-region in 1993.

Coaching Achievements: Has been coaching for 10 years in Anchorage, AK at the high school and club level. He is currently the West Boys head coach. Two time Cook Inlet Conference Coach of the year 2012 & 2013. CIC Region Champions 2013.
Wacharin ‘Num’ Tindle: Hails from the north east of England. He is a graduate of Monkwearmouth Comprehensive school in Sunderland, England. Is a passionate Sunderland support which means one should never bring up Newcastle FC in his presence. Num was a defensive starter for Redby C.A., Boldon F.C. and Whitburn A.F.C. before moving to Katy, TX at 15. In Texas he played for the very successful Katy Strikers (98-00’) and the U of Houston club before coming to Anchorage, Alaska.
Coaching Licenses: USSF National ‘D’ License
Coaching Achievements: Num has been coaching for 8 years for Anchorage clubs. He started with AYSC and now is currentlly the 99B Blue coach. He is the Dimond high school JV coach. Last season the JV side went undefeated in the league.
Cari Gill: Is graduate of West Anchorage high school (06’) where she received a number of person awards (3 time CIC 1st team All-Conference, West MVP for Offensive & Defensive). She was a member of many Alaska State Championship teams (5), se well as a member of the Alaska ODP (5 years). Cari had a successful college playing carrier at NCAA D1 University of Maine and California State University, Los Angeles were her team made it to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament and finished ranked 12th in the nation in Division II collegiate soccer. After college she played for the Maine Tide woman’s team in the WPSL (Women’s Premier Soccer League in the North East Atlantic – North Conference).

Coaching Achievements: Cari has been coaching for 6 year in Maine and in Alaska. She has coached at the high level here in anchorage with West and Service high schools.
