03 Girls win the CSC Spring Thaw
We would like to congratulate the CISC Velocity 03G Blue team for winning the CSC Spring Thaw 5v5 tournament last weekend. They won in style only conceding two goals in the tournament. Way to go Ladies!

Team First Soccer Academy Comes to Anchorage
US Womens National Team legends Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly and Tisha Hoch will be in Anchorage running the Team First Soccer Academy from June 2nd-4th. 97 Girls Impress in Nights College Showcase
Outstanding showing by our girls, capturing the group championship with 3 impressive victories over highly ranked California teams. We tied for first in all brackets with 28 points out of a possible 30 points. Over 75 coaches attended our games, and according to many the Alaska team was the talk of the tournament.
New CISC High School Coaches
Congratulations to our coaches Ula Rowel, Num Tindle and Brad Horton in their recent high school soccer appointments. Ula is taking over the Bartlett girls program, and Num is taking over the up and coming West girls program. Brad is taking over for Num as the new Dimond JV boys coach. CISC now has 8 coaches coaching at the high school level 6 of which are head of programs.

Our New Executive Director
The Cook Inlet Soccer Club (CISC) is proud to announce that Jason Dinneen is the Clubs next Executive Director. Mr. Dinneen has grown-up in the Anchorage soccer community, having played for youth state titles and varsity for West Anchorage High School and Gonzaga University. Jason brings CISC a passion for soccer along with a great depth of leadership experience, stated Larry Burke, President, CISC Board of Directors.
2013 AYS Coach of the Year
We received notice today from the Alaska Youth Soccer Association (AYSA) Executive Director Kay Jones that Tim Valesko, Cook Inlet Soccer Club Staff Coach, and head coach of the Velocity 97G Blue team, and Velocity 00B Blue / Velocity 00B White teams has been recognized by AYSA as the 2013 AYS Coach of the Year.
I hope when you get a chance, you will congratulate Tim Valesko for being recognized by the State of Alaska for all his hard work and dedication to his players!!!!
