Cook Inlet S.C. Come Out and Play Summer Camps
The weeks of June 6th, 20th, July 11th, 25th.
With Summer quickly approaching, registration for our Summer camps are now open! Our camps are for kids ages 5-15, and will have a half day or full day options. Full day camp runs from 9-4pm. Our half day options are from 9-12, or 1-4. These camps are soccer specific, but will feature other games and activities. Camps will be divided into two age groups, the Lil Kickers (9 and under) and the Big Kickers (ages 10+). Lunch will not be provided but we will offer snacks for each session, or twice if you are in the full day program.
This is a great oppourtunity for those who may not be ready for an intensive soccer camp, but would still like to improve on their skills while having fun in a friendly and safe enviornment. If you are interested in attending more than one week of camps, please give us a call in the office so we can give you a discounted price!
If you have any additional questions, feel free to send them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Summer registration is currently open!
Check out our programs tab for more information.
June 1st - July 12th
Cup Tournament July 13-15th
Noon programs will take place from 12-1pm. Evening games will take place at either 6, 7, or 8pm Monday-Thursday (age specific). Games will be played at Anchorage Gardens located off Brayton and Academy.
Kiddie Soccer (3 & under) (T&TH/W) - An introduction to the game of soccer for 2-3 year olds. Parents are encouraged to participate with their child as the licensed instructor leads the group in games and movements with a soccer ball. Players are not split into teams in this age group, but grouped together. Each player receives a Kiddie Soccer jersey. Kiddie Soccer will have their sessions at 5-5:45 at Anchorage Gardens.
U6 (born 2011-12) (M&W)(noon/pm)- For kids ages 4 and 5, the U6 program is the first opportunity for players to be placed on their own team with their own coach. The U6 program plays 4v4 on one third of a field at Anchorage Gardens, and will play to small goals with no goalies. U6 teams receive a full uniform (jersey, shorts and socks). U6 will have a 30 minute training with their own team followed by a 30 minute game against an opposing team all in a 1-hour timeframe. Noon sessions are from 12-1pm, evenings are 6-7pm.
U8 (born 2009-10) (T&TH)(noon/pm)- For kids ages 6 and 7. The U8 program will play 4v4 on an extended third of a field at Anchorage Gardens. The bigger space will allow for a smoother transition from our U8 program into the U10 program. The larger fields will also allow the players to be more creative and have more space to run with or without the ball. U8 teams receive a full uniform (jersey, shorts and socks). Noon sessions are from 12-1pm, evenings are 6-7pm.
U10 Summer (born 2007-08) - The U10 program is headed by CISC Staff Coach Johnny Turner. Johnny and other CISC staff coaches will offer trainings twice a week. The U10 players also have the opportunity to tryout for the U10 Select team, which will travel to tournaments around Anchorage and Wasilla and play against other select teams from neighboring soccer clubs. U10 players receive a full uniform (jersey, shorts and socks).
U12 (2005-06) U15 (2002-04) and U19 (1998-01) -- Players in the U12, U15 or U19 league will train at least once a week and will play a 1-hour game twice a week in the evenings. The coach of each team gets to choose the practice location and time for their team. Players that are in these age groups have the opportunity to be evaluated by a CISC Staff Coach if they are interested in potentially playing competitive soccer. Although its not mandatory, many CISC competitive players started out in the recreational program and were later identified as being potential competitive players. Players in these age groups receive a full uniform (jersey, shorts and socks).
